Vishous, known as V, is a genius, can see the future, read minds, is into BDSM and can incinerate things with his cursed hand. Before his transition he was tortured and mentally abused by his warrior father. Vishous has no real use for emotions or emotional attachments. All he really cares about is fighting the Lessers. All of that changes when V meets Dr. Jane Whitcomb. For the first time in his long life he lets someone in and feels real love and pleasure. Then destiny plays a very cruel joke…
O.K. I have to admit that V holds a special place in my heart. How do you feel about V? Were you surprised by his BDSM fetish? By the way he treated females, and males, before Jane? The fact that he was bisexual? Come on all you Vishous lovers, tell us what you think!!! _________________ Cougar

Just finished V's book. This one touched my heart in several different ways.
I have to admit I was shocked by V in the beginning but quickly warmed up to him. I felt an instant connection with Jane from the minute I met her. I knew there was a strong connection between V and Butch and really felt for V. He was just trying to connect with someone and I'm glad he found Jane.
I cried at the end when Jane met her unexpected fate. Couldn't believe she would be taken away from V just after they committed to one another. Was happy she could be brought back to him in that special way.
Then learning about Payne and possibly Manny. Hate to say it, but the Scribe Virigin isn't sitting well with me right now. She gained a few brownie points after her gift to V, but she kinda sucks as a "mother".
Can't wait to read Phury's story next.

She does suck as a mom for sure! I'm not sure why she agrred to Bloodletters terms. And I don't know why she sent V to him instead of Pahyne. If she's more like her father ....V just suffered so much, he was such a smart soft child and Bloodletter just destroyed him.
If you get a chance go onto the BDB main forum site and read the Slices of Life story there. It's got great info on V and Butch. Also, go the JR's site and read the story about the interview. VERY VERY good _________________ Cougar
